Hey Boss Moms!
I am Adalyia (pronounced uh-del-ya; think of Adele, the singer, and add a “ya” on the end!), the co-founder of The Boss Moms Group. My friend, Jaime, and I started this group because we felt that there was an opportunity to create a space where “mommyhood” is celebrated and also where moms can get resources and fun tips that allow us to embrace this journey throughout it’s multiple seasons.

A little about me…I am a Tennessee girl, born and raised in Knoxville. I moved to Memphis in 2006 to attend The University of Memphis, and ironically, that’s where Jaime and I met and became friends, pre-mommyhood.

I am the matriarch of my “HardKnox Crew” that consists of my “Lover” Tony, “The Big EZ”, my 7-year-old son, Enzo, and “Princess P”, my 4-year-old daughter Parker Grace. Being a mom has been the hardest, best thing I’ve ever done, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

In my spare time, I like to shop (bless it, Jesus), try new restaurants (or visit my old faithful picks), indulge in “self-care” activities such as spa days, sweat it out in PiYo or Body Pump, and patio pimp in my backyard with a good music or a book and a White Claw or a glass of wine, if I’m feeling fancy. I also love to travel; there are so many places on my “to go” list!
I love helping people and especially enjoy encouraging and cheering on people to reach their goals and follow their dreams. From the bottom of my heart, thank you ladies for going on this journey with us!
Hey Beautiful Ladies!

The day it hit me, I knew I wanted to become a mother. God blessed me with the most amazing family a mom could ever ask God for. My wonderful three-year-old daughter, Ari and my husband of 4 years, Marcus. Motherhood has been one of the scariest things for me, learning so much about myself and truly growing into a woman I never knew I was meant to be. Motherhood changed all of that for me.
In my free time, I love everything fitness (EVERYTHING!!). And let’s not forget baking, they have to balance, right?

A little about little old me – I am a native Memphian where I graduated from the University of Memphis with a degree in Exercise Science. I once had dreams of becoming a Physical Therapist and here I am with a career in Human Resources (you know they say your careers choose you). My passion and drive to help people realize how amazing they are and develop that stems from my previous career as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor.
You have everything that you need to be an AMAZING YOU, sometimes it takes other people to encourage and inspire you. I am super grateful that you are here and on this journey with us and have decided to become a part of this “mom tribe”. My mother told me a long time ago, it takes a village to raise a child. You know, it takes a “mom tribe” to support that village!
